Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 10 Review: Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan Intrigue Us With Interesting Revelations

Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 10 features Saif Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore as the new guests. Karan Johar looks quite delighted to chat with the mother-son duo on screen for the first time. The episode is 50 minutes long.

Karan and Saif talk about how it’s the first time the actor is doing an interview with his mother. In the episode, Karan and Sharmila talk about the bikini shot that caused quite a stir in the 1960s. They talk about Saif’s flings during his younger days and how much they stressed Sharmila.

Saif Ali Khan reveals that director Rahul Rawail might have replaced him in the 1992 film Bekhudi due to his attitude. Saif reveals that maybe the director, Rahul Rawail, might have been replaced because of his attitude. But the actor refuses to say anything against him. Sharmila tried to intervene, but she didn’t push it much.  The veteran actress also reveals that Yash Chopra was rock solid by Saif’s side during the tough times.

Koffee with Karan Season 8 Episode 10 also focuses on Saif’s relationship and marriage with Amrita Singh, as well as their divorce. Karan reveals Soha’s reaction when she had found out that Saif got married to Amrita. It’s an interesting anecdote that Karan shared in the episode.

Furthermore, Sharmila Tagore praises Bahu and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan. Sharmila reveals that Bebo is lovely, understanding, and also has good things to say about her cooking skills.

The episode also features lovely video messages from Kareena Kapoor Khan, Soha Ali Khan, and Sara Ali Khan for Sharmila Tagore. The ladies shower praise on the Gulmohar actress. It makes you realise that these video messages, which were a thing in the earlier seasons, are quite sweet. The trio also has some nice things to say about Saif. Kareena calls him her entire universe. Bebo reveals that she gets emotional every time she talks about him.

There is only one game round in the latest episode, Rapid Fire. The questions were interesting and fun, especially for Sharmila. The mother-son duo gave some good answers instead of being diplomatic. Who won the game? Well, you will have to watch the episode to know the same.

Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 10 Review: Final Thoughts

Overall, it was a simple episode where we learned a lot about Saif and his past and present. It was good to see someone as senior and veteran as Sharmila Tagore appear on the show and add a hint of class and charm to the show.
